In July of 1994, Mr.
Hayne traveled to Queenstown, New Zealand on a student visa. While there he
convinced a small engineering firm that they would be better off with him on
their staff. Upon returning to southern California he looked to further his
career with an opportunity at a mid-sized Civil Engineering firm in East Los
Angeles. In 1996 an opportunity opened up on a construction staking crew in
Winter Park, Colorado and he took it. Over the next two years he grew from
the “ground up”, experiencing each aspect of the surveying and engineering
process to become a design engineer until his mentor passed away. With the
limited opportunities in Grand County, he moved to the Front Range. While
in Denver he gathered an expertise in stormwater runoff, erosion control and
bid procurement. He also gained valuable experience while being the field
engineer of a 4000-Acre master planned community. After a couple more years
of experience and obtaining his Professional Engineer’s licensure, he broke
away to start his own company in 2000. He and the growing company have
developed a reputation for being a “hands on” engineer, working with
numerous municipalities and private developers. |

vertical alignment, super elevation, at-grade intersection, safety sections
and guardrail design for both new road alignment and the re-alignment of
existing roads. Mr. Gagnon has a thorough knowledge of numerous local and
federal road standards and has represented Grand County in the review of
land development plans to assure their conformity with the Grand County Road
and Bridge and Grand County Drainage Standards. He is also competent in
other aspects of civil engineering design including utility design,
hydrology, hydraulics and erosion and sediment control. |

to the desert of Phoenix, AZ where he continued his career as a land
development engineer, working as an engineer and manager on dozens of
residential and commercial projects in the rapidly growing “Valley of the
Sun.” After spending 4 years in the rapid pace of one of the largest
metropolitan areas in the Country, Jason decided to slow the pace for
himself and his young family, and moved to Grand County to work for G&H
