Thank you for your
interest in gaining employment at G&H Engineers. Due to our small size and
growing client base, all of our employees are expected to “wear numerous
hats” on a daily basis, and because of this, we encourage all of our
employees to broaden their knowledge base in all aspects of land development
design. Applicants that are self-motivated and that are interested in
gaining knowledge in numerous aspects of land development have been the most
successful employees at G&H Engineers. Our employees are encouraged to take
advantage of our numerous benefits including: full medical and eye insurance
coverage, two weeks of vacation and sick time, six paid holidays, retirement
plan with a wide-variety of mutual fund options, flexible work schedules,
powder days, on-going commitment to continuing education for staff and
managers, high-speed internet access and company jukebox, company trips,
company-sponsored adult athletic teams, and more!
G&H Engineers’ staff is encouraged to be innovative and energetic and we
pride ourselves on offering a comfortable working environment for all of our
employees and although we are a hard-working, detailed-oriented company, we
realize that there is more to life than just work. Most all of our employees
enjoy their free time by taking advantage of all the great amenities that
the beautiful Rocky Mountains has to offer: skiing, snowboarding,
backcountry, snowmobiling, hunting, hiking, rafting, kayaking, fishing,
mountain biking, just to name a few.
In general, Grand County is known for its cold winters and perfect summer
weather. The general saying around here is “you come for the winter, but
stay for the summer.” Although the Winter Park Ski Area is the “hot spot”,
Grand County is still predominately a farming community, and it still has a
very friendly, rural atmosphere – it is not uncommon for us to see numerous
friendly faces while we’re out and about. Therefore applicants to G&H
Engineers must enjoy the ambiance of a small-town atmosphere and be able to
enjoy/endure the winters. |
